According to CNBC, Micron fell almost 13%, Tesla dropped 11%, Tripadvisor plunged 22%, AppLovin surged 26% and Nvidia lost almost 7% in midday trading. Tripadvisor’s decline followed a leadership shakeup and a forecast for a fourth-quarter sequential revenue decline in the low teens. CEO Matt Goldberg will remain in the role through Feb. 16, while finance chief Michael Noonan will continue through Dec. 31. AppLovin reported third-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $1.84 billion and revenue of $2.18 billion, both above analyst estimates. Other sharp moves included Fastly, down 25%; Dutch Bros, down 22% after cutting its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance; and Expedia, down more than 13% after issuing mostly weaker-than-expected current-quarter guidance. EPAM Systems gained 22% after raising its full-year earnings outlook and increasing its buyback authorization by $1.5 billion. The selloff in technology stocks also pushed the Nasdaq Composite into a correction.
