Bubblemaps Denies Former Employee's Allegations, Says Contract Was AI-Fabricated

Bubblemaps denied allegations from an X user claiming to be a former employee, saying an alleged contract with Proxima was fabricated using AI. According to ChainCatcher, the user, jujudog69, claimed that Proxima had paid Bubblemaps $45,000 per month since April 2025 for consulting support, including access to clustering algorithm parameters, to help bundled buyers evade detection. Bubblemaps said the user was not a former employee and was promoting a competing product; it also said the document contained a fabricated CEO email and listed a headquarters address the team moved to only later, which did not match public legal registration records. The company said its small team knows the identities of all former employees and urged the industry to watch for malicious attacks by competitors.
