On November 3, Philips reported third-quarter comparable order growth of 8% and comparable sales growth of 3% to €4.39 billion. According to Sina Finance, adjusted EBITA rose about 7% year over year, from €531 million to €569 million, while the adjusted EBITA margin increased 70 basis points to 13.0%, supported by order growth, improved margins, and production-efficiency savings. Personal Health sales rose 8% and Connected Care sales increased 5%; Diagnosis & Treatment sales were broadly flat, as lower revenue in Precision Diagnosis was partly offset by growth in Image Guided Therapy. Net income fell to €28 million from €187 million a year earlier, partly because Philips set aside €288 million to address U.S. criminal and civil investigations related to the recall of its Respironics respiratory devices. Philips maintained its 2026 guidance, forecasting comparable sales growth of 3% to 4.5%, an adjusted EBITA margin of 13.5% to 14.0%, and free cash flow of €1.5 billion to €1.7 billion. The margin guidance includes an approximately 1-percentage-point positive impact from U.S. tariff refunds.
