Echelon said its website is accessible again and its domain name resolution is functioning normally. According to Foresight News, the team traced the incident to an unauthorized nameserver change at its domain registrar. Vercel manages the domain, while Name.com is the registrar. The nameservers were changed without authorization to the registrar’s DNS, redirecting visitors to a phishing clone site. Echelon said the issue was limited to the registrar and DNS configuration, and its smart contracts were unaffected. The team had said yesterday that its domain might be redirecting to an unauthorized website.
