0G has launched Compute Finance, a financial layer built around AI computing power, and introduced its liquid staking product Ascend. The company also plans to launch the computing-power-based digital asset Infinite AI on September 29.
According to Odaily, users can stake 0G to receive a0G, mint and stake iAI to obtain computing-power quotas, and use those quotas for products including 0G Private Computer and 0G App. Under the initial parameters, eligible staked iAI can receive daily computing-power quotas with a nominal usage value of more than $1. The quotas can only be used for designated AI services and cannot be exchanged for cash or represent interest or guaranteed returns.
0G co-founder and CEO Michael Heinrich said equity brought dividends, proof-of-work created new participation incentives, and DeFi expanded the use cases for digital assets. He said Compute Finance connects digital assets with the right to use AI computing power, and that Ascend and Infinite AI are the first implementations of this idea.
