Bankrupt crypto mining company Poolin plans to sell two data centers in Texas, but potential bidders have objected, saying the process is rushed, unfair, and undervalues the assets. According to Foresight News, real estate investment firm Thor CALAP LLC submitted a $52 million white knight bid that allegedly undervalues the properties.
Abbauer Industries LLC said in an objection filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey that the sites could be developed into an AI computing data center campus, generating up to $4 billion in enterprise value. The dispute has intensified competition in Poolin's asset auction, and the latest creditor meeting disclosure showed the current winning bid has risen to $180 million, about 246% above Thor CALAP LLC's original offer.
