Stephen Curry Says New Li-Ning Signature Shoe Will Debut Early Next Year

According to CNBC, NBA star Stephen Curry said a new signature shoe he is designing with Li-Ning will debut early next year. Curry said he chose Li-Ning after trying several options because the product stood out, and he added that his split with Under Armour after a 13-year partnership was mutual. He said he signed a 10-year, $400 million contract with Li-Ning, according to ESPN, and that he was influenced by Golden State Warriors teammate Jimmy Butler and former NBA player Dwyane Wade, who also represent the Chinese shoe company. Curry also said he will wear Li-Ning shoes designed by Butler and Wade until his own product is released.
