According to Sina Finance, Ukraine's largest private energy company DTEK said in an email statement that the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation has reached an agreement to finance a battery storage project in Ukraine. The loan is one of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's largest debt-financing projects in Ukraine and its largest financing in Ukraine's energy sector since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began. DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said the approval will allow DTEK to continue investing in reserve projects and strengthen energy security over the coming years.
