Hong Kong Stocks Close Higher as Optical Communications and Memory Shares Rise

Hong Kong stocks closed higher, with the Hang Seng Index up 0.19% and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 0.79%. According to Odaily, optical communications and memory-related shares rose throughout the session, with Cambridge Technology (06166.HK) gaining more than 10%, Lenovo Group (00992.HK) rising more than 8%, and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp (00981.HK) climbing more than 4%.
