Lobito Atlantic Railway expects cargo volumes to double next year after its first drawdown from a $753 million financing package for the US-backed route linking the Democratic Republic of Congo’s copper and cobalt belt to Angola’s Atlantic coast, according to Bloomberg. The company made the draw from the financing package as it advances the corridor project.
