Haitian Flavouring completed its strategic acquisition of Hong Kong century-old brand Amoy Food Limited on September 10, buying 100% of the company through its overseas investment platform Haitian International Investment Co., according to Jiemian News. The seller was indirectly wholly owned by CITIC Capital Asia Food Holdings, and the transaction price was not disclosed.
Amoy Food will keep its existing product supply and market services after the deal. Haitian said it will open up its R&D system, supply chain and channel resources to Amoy Food, while Amoy Food will contribute its overseas brand assets, distribution network and local operating experience. The two sides also plan to jointly develop new products for different regional markets.
Jiemian News reported that Haitian Flavouring's 2026 interim report showed revenue of 16.146 billion yuan in the first half, up 6.01% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of 4.19 billion yuan, up 7.13%. Revenue from its seasoning business rose 5.43% to 15.352 billion yuan, while soy sauce revenue increased 4.65% to 8.296 billion yuan and oyster sauce revenue rose 2.56% to 2.566 billion yuan.
