Payy, an Ethereum privacy-focused EVM L2 network, has launched a stablecoin refund mechanism called Finality. According to Foresight News, the system is designed to give enterprise customers dispute resolution similar to chargebacks without reversing the original blockchain transaction.
Under the mechanism, payers can set a short recovery window when creating a payment, while recipients receive funds immediately. During the window, liquidity providers cover payment protection. If a dispute arises, the payer submits reasons and evidence for review by a neutral arbitrator, and approved cases allow the protected amount to be recovered.
