OpenCover Expands Institutional Risk Coverage to Solana

OpenCover said it has expanded institutional-grade risk coverage to the Solana network, with eligible positions now able to obtain protection. According to ChainCatcher, the initial coverage includes Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter, with scope, limits, and terms varying by protocol and position. The platform said Solana users can now buy coverage against smart contract bugs, oracle failures or manipulation, liquidation failures, and governance attacks. According to ChainCatcher, Nexus Mutual previously said it had launched four coverage products on Solana for Kamino, Raydium, Orca, and Jupiter, covering nearly 90% of funds in Solana lending markets. OpenCover said the launch is the starting point for further expansion of its risk transfer infrastructure on Solana. It added that it plans to work with protocols, asset managers, and liquidity providers to broaden the range of positions that can be covered.
