According to Sina Finance, U.S. media reported on September 2 that Murat Tezel, who had been Deutsche Bank's head of Asia FX forwards and short-term interest rate trading in Hong Kong, appears to have left the bank again. Deutsche Bank declined to comment, and Tezel did not respond to a request for comment.
According to Sina Finance, sources said Tezel may be headed to BMO Capital Markets, where he could take on a larger role, possibly as head of Asia sales and trading for the division. BMO also did not respond to a request for comment, and the report has not been confirmed.
According to Sina Finance, Tezel's LinkedIn profile shows he returned to Hong Kong in June this year after working in Singapore, and previously held roles at Nomura, Bank of America, ANZ, Barclays, Société Générale, Dresdner Bank, and ABN Amro. He studied chemical engineering at Boğaziçi University from 1990 to 1996.
