TRM Labs has received additional investment from existing investors, doubling its valuation to $2 billion six months after completing a $70 million Series C round in September 2025, Fortune reported. According to PANews, CEO Esteban Castano said the company’s mission has expanded from blockchain forensics to broader cybercrime mapping, while AI has become a second growth engine rather than a pivot away from its core crypto business.
Castano said the company plans to launch a new investigation platform focused on AI-driven deepfake scams, sextortion, and child sexual abuse crimes. He said the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency has made it possible to map criminal networks more comprehensively. TRM Labs expects to reach a $100 million annual recurring revenue milestone in the coming weeks. The company has about 500 employees and offices in London, Singapore, and Washington.
