Visa said stablecoin-linked cards are one of the fastest-growing segments on its network. According to Odaily, more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs went live globally in the second quarter, payment volume rose nearly 200% year over year, and annualized settlement volume topped $20 billion, up more than 15 times.
Visa also partnered with Credit Coop to launch a stablecoin-based revolving credit tool that provides daily settlement funding for early-stage stablecoin card programs. Borrowing costs for some participating projects have fallen by more than 30%.
