Kangjian International Holdings (3886) has added an AI preventive medicine pilot at its integrated medical centre in Tseung Kwan O, offering non-invasive preliminary health-risk screening and doctor consultations for medical advice and follow-up arrangements, according to Ming Pao.
Chief Operating Officer Chan Chun-hong said it is the first such pilot within the group’s network and involved an investment of about a six-figure sum. The service is currently free, and has completed roughly several dozen to 100 screenings. Chan said the group hopes to spread costs as it opens more new integrated medical centres and to help more potential chronic-disease patients detect and follow up earlier.
