Solana-based decentralized finance platform Jupiter said its physical card product, Jupiter Gacha, has been natively integrated into Jupiter Mobile. According to Odaily, users can buy, open, and collect physical trading cards in the iOS and Android app, including graded Pokémon and One Piece cards.
Jupiter Mobile has more than 1.68 million downloads on iOS and Android and 240,000 monthly active users. Over the past 30 days, the app recorded $575 million in trading volume and generated $770,000 in fees.
After users buy digital card packs in the app, they open them through smart contracts and verifiable onchain randomness. Each NFT corresponds to one physical card that is graded and authenticated by a third party and stored in an insured vault. When users redeem a physical card, the related NFT is burned and shipping begins, with insurance covering transit.
