Cambridge Technology Rises 8.7% After Investor Update On 800G And 1.6T Modules

Cambridge Technology (06166) rose 8.7% to HK$130.6 on turnover of about 4.15 million shares worth HK$522 million after an investor relations event on September 4, according to ETNet. Chairman Huang Gang said the company's 800G pluggable modules have passed certification with multiple major customers and are now shipping in volume. He said 1.6T products are expected to enter mass production in the second half of this year, while 3.2T products are progressing as planned. Huang also said the current 800G selling price ranges from $300 to $380, with an average of about $350, and that the annual price decline is not expected to be large.
