TrendForce said Samsung Electronics held a 39.4% share of the global DRAM market by revenue in the second quarter of 2026, widening its lead amid the global AI boom. According to Sina Finance, the report said Samsung's DRAM revenue rose 63.4% quarter on quarter to $60.98 billion, and its market share increased from 38.5% in the first quarter.
SK Hynix ranked second with a 24.9% share, down from 28.8% in the first quarter, while its revenue rose 37.9% quarter on quarter to $38.59 billion. Micron Technology's global DRAM market share was 23.3% in the second quarter, up from 22.4% in the previous quarter, and its revenue climbed 65.5% quarter on quarter to $36 billion.
TrendForce said total global DRAM revenue reached $154.73 billion in the second quarter, up 59.5% quarter on quarter, driven by growth in shipments of various memory products.
