China Overseas Grand Oceans August Contract Sales Rise 10.1%

China Overseas Grand Oceans (00081) said August contract sales rose 10.1% year on year to RMB 2.348 billion, while contract sales area fell 2% to 199,000 square metres, according to ETNet. For January-August, cumulative contract sales increased 17.5% year on year to RMB 24.421 billion, with sales area up 12.3% to 2.094 million square metres. As of end-August, the company had RMB 575 million in subscribed but unsigned sales and 44,400 square metres of subscribed but unsigned area. In August, the group added five projects in Xuzhou, Ganzhou, Nanning, Hefei and Yiwu, with total gross floor area of 634,800 square metres and total land cost of RMB 2.623 billion. From January 1 to August 31, it added a cumulative 1.28 million square metres of gross floor area, with total land cost of RMB 5.25 billion, attributable gross floor area of 1.28 million square metres and attributable land cost of RMB 5.245 billion.
