According to Sina Finance, Citadel's Asia trading head, AJ Bolduc, has left about four months after joining the $77 billion hedge fund firm. Sources said Citadel and the former Wall Street bank trader parted ways this week.
Ed Phillips will take over the Asia trading and principal strategies team, which also handles equity capital markets investing for portfolio managers. The team’s other members remain unchanged, and Citadel has been expanding the team in recent months and is still actively hiring to support its fundamental stock-picking investment team in the region. The team sits within the international equities division and is led by London-based Drew Gillanders.
