Li Auto (02015) rose 4.7% to HK$48.56, extending gains to a second straight session for a cumulative increase of 5.9%, according to ETNet.
The company recently launched a new MEGA model with a starting price of RMB509,800, down RMB50,000 from the 2025 MEGA Home. Morgan Stanley said the updated MEGA focuses on improved handling and autonomous driving features, including steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering systems, which reduce the turning radius of the 5.35-metre vehicle from 6.2 metres to 5.5 metres. It also comes with an 800V active anti-roll chassis, dual M100 chips and four lidar units. The bank expects the new MEGA to help monthly sales gradually recover, while the upcoming i9 model will be the next focus for near-term sales and battery-electric vehicle growth. Morgan Stanley kept an Overweight rating on Li Auto and a target price of HK$78.5.
