STOCKS | Tencent Rises More Than 3% As Hang Seng Index Gains 2.2%

Tencent rose as much as 3.2% to HK$446, breaking above its 10-day moving average of HK$444.2, according to ETNet. It was last up 3% at HK$445.8, or 1.8% above its ADR close, after trading between HK$440 and HK$446. The stock traded 8.3248 million shares worth HK$3.687 billion. Its active buy-sell ratio was 62:38, with net active buying of HK$760 million. Tencent's RMB counter (80700) gained 2.7% to RMB381.6. The Hang Seng Index was up 565 points, or 2.2%, at 25,778, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 208 points, or 2.5%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 132 points, or 3%.
