Palo Alto Networks said it will acquire AI agent startup Console for $500 million in cash and stock. According to ChainCatcher, Console was founded in 2024 and uses AI agents to automate tasks such as password resets, application access provisioning, and routine IT troubleshooting.
The company said Console will be integrated into its AI-driven security platform Cortex, allowing security teams to investigate and handle security alerts through natural language and automate more enterprise security operations.
The deal is Palo Alto Networks' seventh acquisition this year. The company previously acquired Chronosphere at a $3.35 billion valuation and bought cybersecurity startup Koi for $400 million.
