CIMC Enric Holdings (03899) said its invested subsidiary, CIMC Weiant Technical Services (Xinjiang) Co., Ltd., has officially opened in Xinjiang.
According to ETNet, the new base marks the full rollout of the company's three strategic pillars in northwest China: key equipment, core processes and integrated services. CIMC Enric said the site supports its shift from single equipment manufacturing to an integrated manufacturing-plus-services model, and is intended to strengthen its competitiveness in energy equipment services and support further expansion of its tanker business along Belt and Road markets.
The company said CIMC Weiant is an important milestone in its energy equipment strategy and national energy strategy. It has built 12 self-operated service stations so far, which will gradually be upgraded into integrated service bases covering Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Hebei, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Sichuan and Guangdong. Overseas, it plans to set up multiple sites across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.
