STOCKS | Feishang Anthracite Delays Interim Results To October 30

Feishang Anthracite (01738) said it needs more time to complete and finalise its management accounts for the six months ended June 30, delaying the publication of its interim results to an expected October 30 and prompting a trading suspension today, according to ETNet. The company said the delay was mainly due to financial difficulties and tight liquidity, which have led to delays in employee salary payments and the departure of some core staff. Unstable weather and multiple natural disasters in mainland China have also disrupted normal operations at the company and its subsidiaries, creating major obstacles to preparing and finalising the accounts. A board meeting originally scheduled for yesterday to consider and approve the 2026 interim results has also been postponed. The new meeting date will be announced after the management accounts and interim results are ready. Feishang Anthracite said it may breach Listing Rule 13.48(1) if it fails to publish its 2026 interim report by September 30, and Listing Rule 13.49(6) if it fails to publish its interim results by August 31. The company said it is taking all necessary steps to complete the accounts and results as soon as possible.
