S&P 500 September futures fell 21.50 points, or 0.28%, to 7,700.50 at 9:01 a.m., according to ETNet. The 30-year U.S. Treasury yield was 5.198%, down from 5.21%; the 10-year yield was 4.714%, compared with 4.72%; the five-year yield was 4.474%, versus 4.48%; the three-year yield was 4.393%, versus 4.41%; and the two-year yield was 4.333%, versus 4.35%. Spot gold in London was quoted at 4,444.82/4,445.16, while spot silver was at 66.23/66.28. Ninety-nine gold was quoted at 41,735.
