Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said AI is helping bring manufacturing back to the United States after decades of offshore outsourcing and is driving reindustrialization. According to ChainCatcher, Huang said AI is also creating demand that is pushing market forces, rather than subsidies, to invest in aging power grids and sustainable energy.
He said AI is generating construction and manufacturing jobs at energy plants, chip factories, and data centers, while also creating new companies and industries. Huang added that AI startups have attracted $400 billion in investment over the past six months. He said builders must work with local communities to develop projects, earn trust, and create local benefits, arguing that the U.S. has an opportunity to generate lasting gains for communities nationwide and lead the next industrial revolution.
