China National Gold Reports First-Half Revenue Down 19.93% to 24.9 Billion Yuan

China National Gold said on August 30 that first-half revenue fell 19.93% year on year to 24.9 billion yuan, while net profit attributable to shareholders dropped 12.35% to 279 million yuan, according to Jiemian News. Basic earnings per share were 0.17 yuan. The company also proposed a cash dividend of 0.92 yuan per 10 shares, including tax. It said the weaker results were mainly due to lower sales of gold products, changes in operating costs and expenses, as well as higher inventory and a decline in operating payables.
