Glassnode data shows BTC options positioning has shifted more positively as Bitcoin rebounds toward $80,000. According to Odaily, BTC options open interest has recovered to nearly 550,000 BTC, derivatives market participation has risen again, and the DVOL volatility index has rebounded to about 41, still below the earlier 50 to 60 high-volatility range.
Glassnode said 25-delta skew across maturities has narrowed significantly, with short-term skew turning negative, indicating weaker demand for downside protection and a more balanced or bullish positioning bias. BTC is currently in a dense gamma range of about $75,000 to $80,000, with recent flows concentrated at the $72,500 and $79,250 strike prices, where call buying has been more pronounced and put demand has remained limited.
