According to the BBC, at least 290 Indians are reported missing after deadly flash floods struck along Nepal's border with Tibet, with many of those unaccounted for on a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash. The article said Subhrasree Chakraborty, 43, sent her husband a final message at 07:57 local time saying Nepal immigration was complete and the group was waiting to enter China, before communications stopped six minutes later. Her husband, Sudipto Bhattacharya, said he does not know what happened after 08:03am. The report also said Rina Banerjee, 54, was traveling with the same pilgrimage group and had also received a Nepal departure stamp before contact was lost. Nepal's official missing-person list now includes 537 names, while the Kolkata-based tour operator said it has no information yet on the group's fate.
