China's National Development and Reform Commission on Thursday held a national investment work meeting with relevant departments, calling for stronger efforts to stabilize investment, according to ETNet.
The meeting urged local governments and agencies to speed up the issuance and use of special-purpose bonds, accelerate funding for new policy-based financial tools, and tighten supervision of capital use to ensure timely payments. It also called for faster implementation of major projects under the 15th Five-Year Plan, coordinated construction of the six networks, and stronger support for land, environmental review, data, technology and talent resources.
The commission said it would push forward reforms in pricing, data sharing, application scenarios, standards and operating models, while launching more major projects to attract private companies. It also backed private-sector participation in infrastructure REIT issuance and public-private partnership projects, and said it would improve mechanisms for feedback and coordination on private-company issues.
