Puyi Standard Data Show Stronger Returns for Closed-End 'Fixed Income Plus' Wealth Products

Puyi Standard said on July 22 that by the end of the second quarter of 2026, wealth managers had issued 6,320 closed-end “fixed income plus” wealth products so far this year, with 12,715 still outstanding at quarter-end. The median quarterly annualized return was 3.03%, up 34 basis points from the previous quarter, and overall product operations remained stable, according to Jiemian News. Puyi Standard researcher Luo Weiyin said the products have reduced reliance on a single market trend through diversified asset allocation and have adapted well to market changes amid a bond market that was volatile but relatively strong and a more divided equity market.
