LumiBot Raises Tens of Millions of Yuan in Angel Round

Robot dexterous-manipulation startup LumiBot has completed an angel round of financing in the tens of millions of yuan, led by Changzhou Zhirong Changyou Equity Investment Partnership (LP), a fund under Changyou Technology, with two other funds backed by state-owned investment platforms also participating, according to 36Kr. The proceeds will be used for team expansion, product iteration, small-batch production line setup, and research on dexterous-operation data collection and models. Founded in early 2025, LumiBot focuses on dexterous-manipulation solutions for industrial manufacturing and precision assembly. It has launched four product lines, including the Lumi-Dex series of high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, Lumi-Tac fingertip visuotactile sensors, the Lumi-Mind manipulation model and Lumi-Mod motor modules. The company said its 11-degree-of-freedom hand entered small-batch production last month and is expected to generate 20 million to 30 million yuan in revenue this year, with shipments of 100 to 200 units.
