China Sends Robots Into the World to Learn Human Tasks

China is deploying humanoid robots into real-world environments to train them in human tasks, according to Bloomberg. In an industrial park outside Beijing, a humanoid arm was shown picking up a bag of Lay's potato chips and placing it on a shelf. Workers are filming themselves performing household chores, such as folding sheets and grabbing cushions, to generate training data for robot AI systems.
