A whale trader identified as Loracle reopened positions today after previously recording large losses from shorting Hyperliquid’s HYPE, according to Lookonchain monitoring. According to Odaily, the account loracle.hl previously shorted HYPE and accumulated losses of about $46.46 million. The trader later opened new positions, including a long position in SKHX and a short position in crude oil. Overall performance has been highly volatile, with the account’s profit and loss reaching a peak profit of about $42.87 million before reversing to a loss of about $17.27 million. The account has since returned to an overall profit of about $2.06 million.
