Iran’s Parliament Speaker Says Those Responsible for Ali Khamenei’s Death Will Be Punished

Iran’s parliament speaker said Iran would pursue accountability for those responsible for the death of Ali Khamenei. According to Jin10, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on social media that Iran will investigate and hold accountable the parties linked to Khamenei’s death. Ghalibaf said those responsible for attacking Iranian territory and killing Iranians, especially those responsible for Khamenei’s death, will be punished. The report said a burial ceremony for Iran’s late supreme leader Ali Khamenei was held on July 9 in his birthplace, Mashhad, a city in northeastern Iran.
