STOCKS | Jiumaojiu International Reports Q2 Same-Store Daily Sales Growth at Tai Er

Jiumaojiu International (9922) released its second-quarter operating data, including same-store average daily sales by major brand, according to Ming Pao. For its self-operated Tai Er Sauerkraut Fish restaurants, overall same-store average daily sales rose 6.1% year on year. Within that, the mainland China market increased 12% year on year, while other regions fell 17.2%. The group said the decline outside the mainland was mainly due to changes in the external consumption environment in some overseas markets and menu mix adjustments that affected average spending per customer. Same-store average daily sales at self-operated Jiumaojiu restaurants fell 13.5% year on year. Song Hot Pot recorded the largest drop, down 26.1% year on year.
