According to Jin10, the company announced that it recently obtained a registration certificate issued by Honduras' National Medicines Regulatory Authority for insulin glargine injection (prefilled pen), with approval number HN-BT-0426-0005.
The product name is VITAGLAR, with an indication for diabetes. The dosage form is an injectable, with a specification of 3 ml at 100 units/ml (prefilled pen).
The company cited Honduras data stating the country has a total population of about 10.82 million and GDP per capita of $3,426.4. It also cited estimates that in 2024, Honduras had about 259,000 people aged 20 to 79 with diabetes, a diabetes prevalence rate of 4.0%, an undiagnosed rate of 51.9%, and average annual diabetes-related spending per patient of $789.4.
