Iranian Parliament Speaker Says Iran Will Retaliate If the U.S. Attacks

Iran’s parliament speaker said Iran would retaliate if the United States attacks. According to Jin10, Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on social media on July 9 that the United States still has not understood that bullying and breaking promises are no longer “cost-free.” Ghalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz could be kept open only under “Iran’s arrangements, not U.S. threats.” He added: “If you dare to strike, I will strike back. Stop waving your fists in vain, or you will only sink deeper.”
