Off-Campus Tutor Zhonggong Education Flags Abnormal Share Trading After Two-Day Move

Zhonggong Education said in a July 7 filing that its shares triggered Shenzhen Stock Exchange “abnormal trading fluctuation” criteria after the cumulative deviation in closing price changes over July 6-7 met the threshold set out in the exchange’s trading rules. The company said operations are normal and it has not seen, nor does it expect, any major changes in its internal or external business environment; it also said there is no undisclosed material information beyond what has already been released. Zhonggong Education warned that the stock has seen large short-term swings and may face risks of overheated sentiment and irrational speculation, according to Jiemian News.
