Bitdeer Technologies Group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Tydal Data Center AS, has signed a hosting lease for an AI data center site in Tydal, Norway.
According to Foresight News, the lease has not yet taken effect and remains subject to several conditions outside Bitdeer’s control, including the counterparty completing arrangements with external customers and suppliers.
The company said it cannot guarantee these conditions will be met or that the lease will ultimately become effective.
Chief Strategy Officer Haris Basit said signing the agreement is a step in advancing Bitdeer’s global AI infrastructure strategy. He added that once the lease becomes effective, the company will disclose full details, including transaction terms and strategic context.
Bitdeer expects to release that announcement within the next month.
