An Iranian trade official said Iran has resumed trade with the United Arab Emirates and expects bilateral trade volumes to gradually return to prewar levels.
According to Jin10, Iranian state media on June 27 cited a trade department official as saying trade with the neighboring UAE has restarted.
An official at Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization responsible for trade services told the Islamic Republic News Agency that containers and goods shipped from Ali Shan Port in the UAE have arrived in Iran. The official said that as the regional situation becomes relatively calmer, trade is gradually increasing.
