STOCKS | Tse Sui Luen Expects FY Profit of at Least HK$100 Million

Tse Sui Luen Jewellery (0417) issued a profit alert, expecting unaudited profit of no less than HK$100 million for the full year ended March 31, according to Ming Pao, compared with a loss of about HK$197.8 million in the previous fiscal year. The company attributed the expected swing to profit to its business transformation strategy, including improved same-store sales and higher profit contribution from its mainland China franchising business, as well as cost optimization that reduced selling, distribution and administrative expenses and lowered restructuring costs.
