Alliance co-founder Imran Khan said he agrees with a recent Delphi report on the token market. According to Foresight News, Khan said tokenization is mainly evolving toward two forms: tokens that represent equity ownership and tokens that accumulate value directly through buybacks.
He added that token models positioned between these two forms are likely to move toward either of the two extremes over time.
Khan said tokens may struggle to reach reasonable valuations unless revenue and buybacks are put on-chain in a programmatic way.
He also said that as more companies pursue initial public offerings, tokenization could provide global investors with on-chain ways to participate, expanding access to ownership beyond traditional capital markets.
