Bitcoin Covenant Proposals Face Hurdles as Soft Fork Consensus Looks Unlikely

Bitcoin covenant proposals are drawing renewed attention as developers revisit ways to expand Bitcoin’s functionality, but implementing them may be difficult amid governance and client-diversification challenges.
