Pendle said it has been selected for Fortune magazine’s Crypto Innovators list, which chose 30 projects from more than 150 nominations.
According to Foresight News, Pendle said other honorees include traditional financial institutions such as State Street, DBS Bank, and SBI Holdings.
Pendle said on-chain fixed-income products have long lacked structures comparable to those in traditional finance. It added that while floating yields are common, tools to lock in known interest rates or express clear views on duration have not scaled.
Pendle said it aims to address this gap, noting that the protocol’s total value locked has reached several billion dollars and that the share of stablecoin yield markets and institutional capital continues to rise.
