Early Warning Services LLC, the operator of the U.S. payments network Zelle, said it will enter the Indian market, enabling U.S. users to send money to friends and family in India.
According to Foresight News, the service is expected to go live before the end of this year.
The company also announced a U.S. dollar stablecoin, ZelleUSD, aimed at expanding cross-border payments.
ZelleUSD is expected to support international payment functions in other markets in the future, offering U.S. consumers additional options for sending money to contacts worldwide.
