The Blockchain Association has sent a joint letter to U.S. Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, expressing support for the Clarity Act. According to Foresight News, the letter was signed by 160 professionals from national security, intelligence, and law enforcement sectors.
The letter emphasizes that the structure of digital asset markets is a priority for law enforcement and national security. Clear regulations ensure that related activities are under U.S. oversight, enhance consumer protection, and assist investigators in apprehending criminals.
Tomorrow, the Blockchain Association will lead the signatories and members on a visit to Washington, D.C., where they will hold meetings in 18 Senate offices.
